Thank you Letters

To whom it may concern:

My cousin recommended Ms. Gabrielle to me, after my original baker pulled out of making my cake two months before my wedding.
I emailed Gabrielle that same day, and she responded almost immediately and said she would make our wedding and grooms cake. I had never met her, nor seen her work; but we were in a pinch, and I trusted my cousin enough to know, that she wouldn’t recommend someone to me that she didn’t trust herself.
Since I live in Kentucky, mine and Gabrielle’s correspondence was through email.  I sent her photos of cakes I liked and she sent me photos of cakes she had done. She quoted me a very reasonable price for three cake flavors, and two separate cakes. Within a couple of weeks she had sent me the contract.  Everything moved along quickly and smoothly.
We kept in contact during the following weeks, and planned a cake tasting for the next time I was visiting Michigan.  She came to where I was staying with three small cakes in the flavors I chose- carrot, German chocolate, and French vanilla. My Mother as well as the cousin who recommended her were both there. Everyone was in agreement that her cake flavors were the best we’d ever tasted. Especially the carrot cake! Tasting the cakes and meeting Gabrielle in person, just further determined that we had made the right decision in choosing her.
On the wedding day itself, she delivered both cakes at the designated time and set them up. Throughout the night we received multiple compliments on the look and taste of the cakes- everyone excited and wanting to know who made them.
I fully believe that having Gabrielle make our cakes was a blessing. She was very nice, informative, and professional.
Having to do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing!

To whom it may concern:

I hired Gabrielle to make my wedding cake. What I got was so much more.

Gabrielle really tried to incorporate my fall theme in ways I hadn't even thought of. As all brides are, I was really picky about what I wanted, especially that my birthday is 10/31 & my wedding was 10/30/10. I know & love fall!

She asked early on (June) for color samples, & showed me pictures in magazines of pumpkins she wanted to try. My fiance & I had a cake tasting in July, & we had a hard time picking favorites of the 4 cake flavors & 4 frosting flavors she brought. We finalized a chocolate selection for picky eaters, & a pumpkin flavor, which Gabrielle created with us in mind. Our caramel filling was a great touch to the fall theme, too.

I sent another bride (a friend of a friend) to Gabrielle in September, & I was given a discount for a groom's cake. I went ahead & spent a little extra $ & I am SOOOO glad I did. Once again, Gabrielle put in our fall theme that I had almost forgotten about. I wanted the cake to feature my fiance's artwork. I had picked out one of his robot sculptures, but when Gabrielle was searching through his website to research the design, she found a drawing he drew of trees in a forest. She added a sweet quote that read "Through the forest, I found the One."

I picked an apple flavor without even tasting it (another fall idea from Gabrielle), & the cake was a HUGE hit with everyone at our rehearsal dinner. Tim was so shocked & he loved seeing his art!

Everyone at my wedding loved the pumpkin flavor, & the pumpkin & leaf decorations were scatterd along the cake so it looked like a blustery day!

I defintely would reccomend & use Gabrielle  for all cakes!

Thank you,
