New challenges

I have some exciting news to share. I will be entering a cake in the Oklahoma State Sugar Arts Show, in Tulsa, OK.  It will be a Desert Wedding. Complete with lizards, cacti and a bride and groom, all made of Isomalt sugar. I am very nervous yet excited. Thank goodness I have someone with a great deal of experience to help me on this journey. I will be posting picks of the progress.  I will also be entering 2 cakes in our local fair. I will be posting pictures of that progress also.... Till the first pictures are available.

Amber's Birthday

Well my little girl is gonna turn the big "18" in 7 days and I have to say it makes me a little sad. My little 6' 7oz girl is gonna be an adult.. We are planning lips cookies for her to take to school and a bikini cake with a rainbow suit for her family party. Then on to get her driver's license after her road test and book test.. Where has the time gone??? Can't wait to post pic's when I get then done.

Well the Anti Semi-Colon Colalation cake was a big hit this morning. I will post pics later today. On deck this afternoon is another female bust cake. Gotta get baking then chilling.

New Year

Well the New Year started out slow, but it's getting better. 1 order for this month plus my daughter's 18th birthday. Feb is getting busy. Big cookie order and Valentine's day cake pops.. Can't wait to post pictures.
