I am loving this machine so much... I have been playing and making wall type plaques that could be framed and some party decorations for a friends son.

this was my first time using center cut for the name after I cut out the border.

This week

Well this week I have a 50th Birthday cake that the theme can not be discussed till it's done and a 31st birthday cake... I love what I do... Hahaha
Also working on more figure's cut out with my Cricut..

Irish Love wedding cake

Well here it is in all it's glory...
The bottom tier is Strawberry, Middle is Irish cream and the top is Key lime.

The words are Gaelic for Love, Loyalty and Friendship.   

The shamrocks are gelatin, Butterflies are gelatin and gumpaste..

Cookies n Cuppies

Well Cookies were on the docket for today...

Cupcakes were done for the Relay sale.

Peanut butter, Peanut butter with Nutella and Chocolate Chip (not photographed).

Wedding cake details to be made tomorrow.. Shamrocks and Butterflies...

Facebook Fan Page

Well I have done it, I have set up a fan page on Facebook, search for " Dragonfly cakes " and you will find it.Trying to expand my business to reach outside the close knit group of friends and family I bake for. I will also be set up at a Relay for life Expo sale on Saturday for getting my name and product out there. Well tomorrow is a big baking day at least 16dz cuppies are to be made and school treats for st. Patrick's day have to be finished and a cuppie delivery is to be made..
Don't forget to wear your green tomorrow.. You don't want to get pinched now do ya... lol Till later all. Good Night 

Dr. Seuss

Well the cake was a huge hit. I forgot to take pics so I used my daughters phone and they came out really small.
The bottom layer is carrot cake with CC filling, middle is Chocolate cake with Chocolate filling and the top is White cake with Vanilla filling. MMF airbrushed Yellow and whipped cream topping to look like cloudy tops.
This cake is fashioned after the Birthday cake in the Dr. Seuss book, Happy Birthday to You..


The mini cakes are Chocolate cake with Chocolate frosting covered in Red Fondant. The Thing 1, Thing 2 and Red fish, Blue fish are made out of fondant and gumpaste.
I hope you like them and this week calls for an Anniversary cake for a friend..
